The Brief

Bikez4All is an Italian bicycle retailer that offers quality bicycles for all ages — from professional off-road mountain bikes to quirky kids’ cartoon tie-ins and toddler sit-and-ride models. The company built a strong reputation selling to retailers and business-to-business (B2B) customers, but they had a desire to sell direct to the general public. Matrix helped them achieve this gear shift with a new website that’s as sleek and robust as a custom carbon fibre frame.

This project is a perfect showcase of Matrix’s full-service capabilities — from branding to design, development and digital marketing. The company had operated for 30 years, but we started the rebranding process with a snappy new logo and a fun new name, Bikez4All — “the Family Cycle Superstore”.

To align with their shift to the business-to-consumer (B2C) market, we simplified the User Experience (UX) with intuitive menus and categories and a filter that refines by type, class, size and price range. To fit the family-friendly rebrand, we highlighted an extensive section of kids’ bikes that license famous Disney franchises such as Frozen and Star Wars. But we didn’t leave out the parents and serious bikers — professional models are also showcased with a full range of specs.

Bikez4All offers a well-oiled UX for cyclists of all abilities — in English, Italian and French — from the enticing browsing windows to more detailed photos and wishlists. The simple checkout system, with its graphical three-step process and shipping time guarantee, adds further reassurance to customers. After Matrix got the wheels in motion, Bikez4All is climbing to new heights.
