The Brief
Arthur Gibney and Partners Architecture is an independent firm based in Dublin with clients in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East. They are experts in large, highly serviced buildings and sustainable design with minimal impact on the environment. Leaders in architecture, interior design, conservation and urban design, they also excel at meeting deadlines within budget and provide their clients with detailed information throughout projects.
They needed a sleek website with rich but minimalist visuals. Because the firm works on a such a wide range of projects, they needed a way to showcase their commercial, residential, public, retail, recreational and conservation projects clearly without overloading site visitors. With so many projects in each category, they needed a site that could present a large number of photos in a way that visitors could instantly understand what they were seeing and how to find what they wanted.
The Solution
Visuals are critical to a business selling any kind of art, craft or design product. Arthur Gibney and Partners Architecture create gorgeous buildings, and their website needed to reflect their impeccable style. Matrix Internet designed a site that neatly categorises their projects while also showing visitors what is on offer right on the homepage. We created a site that can handle the huge number of images required to demonstrate the firm’s impressive range of projects. It’s a fully responsive site, so visitors can use it easily on any device without missing out on the important details in the photos.
Matrix Internet developed sleek and simple navigation cues for the Arthur Gibney site so users can easily see where they are on the site and how to move around. The content required was minimal, so we displayed it clearly with bullet points on each project page. The white background focuses the eye on the images of the firm’s work without distracting visitors.
