BizExpo 2017: The Power of B2B Networking

Humans are social creatures

Before social media networking, we had plain old regular networking.  Offline.  Face to face.  People would gather together in the same physical space to network.  It is a great way to build business relations, and if you are successful at B2B sales you probably do it a lot in smaller settings.  Social media and digital marketing are powerful ways to reach your target market.  But in B2B sales, meeting people in person is usually what seals the deal.

That’s why Matrix Internet will be attending  BizExpo 2017.  The sixth annual WhatsWhat.ie BizExpo will be at the City West Hotel on Wednesday, 26th April.  Visitors get in free – so come by and bring any questions you have for Matrix.  You can meet more than 140 small and medium enterprise exhibitors and mingle with more than 1000 more visitors.  That’s a lot of potential networking opportunities!

What’s What with the BizExpo

This showcase is for small and medium businesses in Ireland.  It’s a chance to network outside your usual circles.  With exhibitors and visitors from all over the country, it offers a real opportunity to build your brand by connecting with like-minded, serious entrepreneurs. Exhibitors (including Matrix Internet!) will be available to answer all sorts of questions.

There is also a range of fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a little something from us. You can see all of the prizes on offer here.

But the day is more than cruising around the exhibit hall networking. Visitors can also enjoy a range of free workshops and presentations. Get expert advice on the nitty-gritty of digital marketing such as Google Ads, social media platforms, and email marketing as well as other topics such as finance.  The workshops focus on matters ranging from understanding the sales funnel and social media to personal development and motivation.

BizExpo2017 is a full day of opportunity and learning. Entrepreneurs need to make time to get their heads out of the rut and take in some new perspectives, meet some new people and learn some new tactics.  Social media has become a global touchstone, but it does not take away from the power of face-to-face networking.
