U Store It
U Store It is Irelands largest self storage company, established in 2001 and with 6 branches across the country. They offer personal and commercial storage at their 6 purpose built self storage centres.
The challenge for U Store It was to create a website which would visually tell their story, explain their model and promote their strengths. Self Storage as a concept is well established abroad, but relatively new to Ireland. Although this is a young industry in Ireland, the competition is fierce and U Store It needed a website that would give people easy enquiry options and calls to action.
Our UX team began the planning phase by researching the industry, forming opinions about customer behaviour and by getting to know the DNA of U Store It.
During the UX planning phase our designers charted the likely customer journeys via the various channels and mediums that U Store It are active on. The customer base is wide and new leads come from a variety of sources including traditional and non-traditional media.
The website we have created for U Store It has a very direct, minimal style with bold messaging and visual icons to convey the main strengths of their offering. Stats and numbers are used throughout to make simple compelling points which don’t demand much concentration from the reader.
Calls to action are paramount on this website, with prominent areas for contact points and quick enquiries, designed to allow the user to make an enquiry at any point of their website visit.
