THE BRIEF

GoCar is an innovative Car Sharing company in Ireland since it’s inception in 2008. GoCar operate and are highly visible in Cork and Dublin. Matrix Internet won the contract to design and build the GoCar website in 2015.

GoCar have always realised that UX is central to the success of their business model, click here for more details about how Matrix Internet’s UX team approached this project. For new converts to the Car Sharing revolution, the GoCar.ie website will often be the starting point. The challenge here was to create a website for GoCar which would rival the best Car Sharing websites globally.

THE SOLUTION

Matrix Internet’s UX department carried out a detailed analysis of the competitive environment and the Car Sharing industry. Deep consultation with GoCar’s team resulted in a clear picture of the target markets. A wireframing process began with the aim of organising a logical graphic design for the new homepage.

The result is a homepage which embodies the main values of GoCar and it’s service via:
