RentalMatics is a leading global provider of fleet telematics solutions for the vehicle rental industry. From humble beginnings, a team of innovators have grown the RentalMatics telematics solution into a large team of experts in geolocation mapping, IoT, telematic capabilities, client operations and are now leaders in the digital transformation of car rental into new mobility.

RentalMatics is a plug-and-play software solution that allows car rental companies to manage and live track their global fleet. Nearly 3 billion kilometres worth of real-world driving data and over 400 million journeys have been analysed to date, creating one of the largest and fastest-growing data pools in the global automotive industry.

Rentalmatics has key clients in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Australia. The challenge was to provide Rentalmatics with a “conversion machine” tol provide a strong foundation to inhouse sales and marketing teams aiming for global growth. 

Being industry leaders with a world class software platform is no guarantee of marketing success. In order to scale globally, Rentalmatics realised that they needed to have a cohesive set of digital touchpoints, all cross-pollinating each other and aligned with a master export strategy.

An experienced Matrix team set about understanding the DNA of Rentatmatics and deconstructing the real value they provide to clients around the world. Rentalmatics involved their senior leadership team and people from all corners of their business, in order to gain a 360 degree perspective. This was crucial and allowed Matrix to build a powerful suite of content and messaging which truly reflected what Rentalmatics does and how it adds value.

The export strategy was built upon a goal that every Rentalmatics staff member should be able to convincingly pitch the company to any prospective customer, with a powerful and uniformed set of messaging.
