Proud partner of PACE
Supporting youth organisations that support young Ukrainians
PACE strengthens youth organisations in Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia so they can provide education, employability support and hope to young people affected by war and displacement. Matrix contributes digital infrastructure, quality support, communications, dissemination and sustainability expertise to help the project reach the organisations and communities it serves.
Building capacity where it matters most
Young Ukrainians affected by conflict face disrupted education, uncertain career pathways, social isolation and barriers to long-term stability. Youth NGOs play a vital role in supporting them, but many organisations need stronger training, digital tools, funding models and structured youth work methods.
PACE responds to that need with a practical capacity-building model. The project supports youth organisations with training, mentoring, digital learning resources and peer-learning networks, helping them provide more consistent, scalable and high-quality support.
The project focuses on non-formal education, trauma-informed care, digital inclusion, financial literacy, employability, entrepreneurship, civic engagement and social integration. Its goal is to help youth organisations become stronger and better connected, so young people can rebuild confidence, skills and a sense of future.
Our contribution to PACE
Matrix supports PACE across quality assurance, digital infrastructure, communications, policy engagement and long-term sustainability.
As co-lead of Work Package 1, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Coordination, Matrix supports the quality, risk and data management systems that help the project stay coordinated, compliant and focused on measurable progress.
In Work Package 3, Development of Training Modules and Digital Learning Portal, Matrix designs and develops the Learning Portal. This mobile-first hub will give youth organisations access to training materials, toolkits and resources in multiple languages, helping them work in remote, disrupted or challenging conditions.
As lead of Work Package 6, Sustainability, Policy Advocacy and Dissemination, Matrix leads the work that gives PACE visibility and long-term reach. This includes the communication and dissemination strategy, project branding, digital campaigns, stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, sustainability planning and scale-up activity.

A stronger support network for young people
PACE is more than a training project. It builds a practical support system around youth organisations, youth workers and young Ukrainians who need clear pathways into education, employment, community life and civic participation.
Matrix helps give that work a strong digital foundation and a clear public voice. The Learning Portal will keep resources accessible. The communications work will keep partners, NGOs, policymakers and wider stakeholders connected. The sustainability activity will help the project continue to create value beyond the funded period.
