The Brief

Shanore is a celtic jewellery manufacturer, which is an established brand in North America. With a great product and a loyal audience, Shanore realised that the key to ecommerce success was a greater engagement with their customers. Our focus was on the following :

  • Deep profiling of the target market, identification of bullseye customers
  • Outline of the requirements or key concerns for customers
  • Identification of main “pain points” in the sales funnel

The Solution

Over several collaborative workshops, we worked with the client to create a vision of the optimal user experience. Armed with a better understanding of the customer and Shanore’s DNA, Matrix carefully created prototypes and wireframes for the most important parts of the User Experience :

  • Landing points, orientation on the website
  • Discovery of Shanore’s products, navigation
  • Product selection and review
  • Sales funnel, adding to cart, cross-selling and up-selling
  • Checkout process simplification

All of the above features were deployed carefully and split tested to ensure that our theories were being backed up by actual evidence from the most important people – the users
