The Brief

An Post is launching a new financial account, and they needed to give it an online presence that would inform the public about it. The site needed to tell people in great detail exactly what the An Post Smart Account is and how it functions. It needed to include all the fine print. And of course, it needed to look great, further An Post’s brand identity and blend in with their existing online presence. It had to have excellent UX. When people are reading so much technical detail, the site needs to be extremely easy and intuitive to navigate.

The Solution

When Matrix Internet won the tender for this large project, we started by doing an in-depth UX planning phase with key An Post staff. We delivered custom graphic design that retained An Post’s brand image. The Smart Account site is structured to present the heavy amount of content in the most easily accessible way for the visitor. Navigation is simple, and people can quickly find the answers to their questions about An Post’s newest financial service. Because a unique selling point is how people can earn cash back by using the account, we developed an online calculator so visitors could see exactly how this would work for them.
