Leaders of small and medium businesses in Ireland can learn from and chat with leaders of the digital revolution. Technology changes quickly and constantly. This event helps Irish businesses stay at the cutting edge.
The third annual Ireland’s Internet Day event needed an extremely functional and intuitive website. The site needed to have the capacity to list a large and growing number of speakers and events. People needed a way to contact organisers and register, and prominent calls to action to encourage them to do so. And of course, the site needed to host a large amount of detail without being visually overwhelming. With so much detail, it was important to keep the visuals crisp and clear.
We created a custom agenda and attendees system to make a large amount of information easy to access and view. We also made it easy to update. The site features content management system integration. It offers many prominent calls to action that are compelling but not obtrusive.
Because the organisers needed the website to go live before the date for the third Ireland’s Internet Day was finalised, it was crucial to make the website easy to edit and also to give it relevant content. It went live with useful and engaging reports of last year’s speakers as well as profiles of the 2017 speakers. Including so much detail while keeping it clear what was from the previous year and what was for this year was a challenge. But a very clean approach to graphics and design with a focus on the user experience keeps it all clear.
