The Brief

Since 1998, MF Flood Technologies has been a leading provider of total ICT solutions in Ireland. After years giving their clients a competitive edge, they realised they needed to transform their own communication channels, with a modernised online platform and content strategy. Matrix responded with a new custom brochure website that highlights the company’s vast range of services, and enhances the MJ Flood brand.

With messaging at the core of this new level-up, we made sure to lay a solid user experience (UX) foundation. After a detailed discovery workshop with MJ Flood, we defined core users and their journeys, and how to attract and engage with these clients. We addressed the ongoing problem of high bounce rates by replacing text-heavy pages with visually dynamic content including videos, infographics and customised icons.

Navigation through the site is intuitive and rewarding, with logical and highly visible calls to action (tracked for analytics). Each service and offering page is a dialogue with the user, primed to drive conversions and leads through dynamic design and a clear drive to contact MJ Flood for more information. The enhanced modernised appearance strengthens the brand, while the prominent news and blog section is an extra resource for users — furthering MJ Flood’s reputation as an expert industry voice.

This premium UX also filters through to MJ Flood staff’s experience with the site. We created flexible block pages and templates, and provided training in updating and editing the WordPress content management system (CMS). The new site is simple to update, and staff now have the confidence to make changes as the company keeps growing.
